Verify to Vote!

To be eligible to vote in the leadership contest, you need to verify your ID with the BC Green Party. If you were a member of the BC Green Party before the last provincial election on October 19, 2024, you do not have to verify your ID. If you are having trouble with this process, please contact Green Party via email id@bcgreens.ca (cc info@emilyforbcgreens.ca) or phone call 1-888-473-3686 ext. 6. 

There are 3 methods to verify your ID. 

Option #1: VERIFY VIA ZOOM DROP-IN **PREFERRED**

Team members will be available to perform verification during these times.

No sign-up required, just bring your BC ID!

Option #2 – VERIFY VIA VIDEO CALL

Verify your ID through a video call with the Green Party by showing them 2 pieces of ID.

Option #3- VERIFY VIA VAULTIE

Verify your ID through a secure Canadian site called Vaultie

  • Submit this form: https://form.123formbuilder.com/6879192/verify-with-vaultie. 
  • Check your inbox for an email from Vaultie within a few hours [FROM: Ryley Johnston via Vaultie, SUBJECT: You have a verification request from The Green Party of British Columbia] with a link to begin verifying your ID. 
  • You will need a government-issued ID (with your photo, name, and address) that has not expired, as well as a phone that can take a selfie. Vaultie is a secure platform and your personal information will be kept safe.

Option #3: VERIFY VIA VOUCHER

If you don’t have a government-issued ID, use this option!

If you have any questions or issues, please email id@bcgreens.ca and cc info@emilyforbcgreens.ca. Once you complete your verification, you will be able to vote for Emily between September 13 – 23rd! You will receive a ballot in your inbox with the voting instructions.
